The Department of Computer Engineering (CE), Computer Science Engineering (CSE), and Information Technology (IT) at SAL Institute of Diploma Studies (SIDS), SAL Education organized an Offline Parent–Teacher Meeting (PTM) on 31st January 2026 for Semester-6 (Even Semester) students for the academic year 2025–2026. The meeting was conducted from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The main agenda of the meeting included strengthening interaction between parents and teachers to maintain a healthy teaching–learning environment, introduction of the new Mid-Semester Examination policy, discussion on students’ daily attendance, and awareness regarding pending backlogs of Semester 1 to Semester 5 subjects.
The PTM acted as an effective platform for one-to-one interaction between parents and faculty members, enabling discussion about students’ academic performance, behavior, and overall development. Parents were informed about their ward’s progress and areas requiring improvement so that necessary academic support could be provided at home as well as in the institute.
The meeting was attended by the Head of Department and Class Coordinators of Semester-6. Parents’ queries were addressed individually by the concerned faculty members. A total of 41 parents attended the meeting, including 26 from CE, 6 from CSE, and 9 from IT departments. The session concluded with positive feedback encouraging continuous collaboration for students’ success.
